Movie 2 million minutes
The movie we have been watching in class is very interesting. This is very interesting because it shows 3 different sides of the cultures and how they treated their students and their futures. China and India are very strict and the parents have almost raised their kids to be robots and raise them to just do their job and die. The American culture and education is much more laid back and few people put their whole life into school as opposed to the Indian and Chinese cultures. The Chinese is definitely the strictest because of the rigorous extra curricular activities and all the times spent studying.

7th week
This week we learned about Chinese activists, and this was very interesting. We learned about Ai Wei Wei who is a current Chinese activist who is an artist also. He is a very bold and brave character, he seems to not really care what the government thinks of him or what they do to him. Also learning about Cheng HuangCheng was interesting because he was able to escape from Chinese custody and now is in New York City at NYU studying English and other things. I really enjoyed learning about activists because it shows the brave people willing to speaking out about the government.
6th Post
This week we leaned about the role of Taiwan in the tension between the US and China. The story that was read to us, could be accurate and that would not be a good thing at all. The US needs to be open about where they stand on Taiwan in order for China to know where they stand. This week was enjoyable and I was interested in this topic.

Walmart Week 3
This week we focused on Walmart. We talked about the cheap labor they have overseas, they also drive out local companies. We discussed how they are able to have such low prices and able to still turn a profit. This was very interesting to me and I enjoyed learning about this. We have also discussed more debt about china and how they are currency manipulators. Really enjoyed learning about all of the Walmart and debt stuff this week.

October 9th-11th
This week we have focused much more on what Americas debt is from. Funny enough, most of our debt isn't even from china, it is from our own country. We also did fight two wars with money borrowed from China. Also the concept of constantly being in debt and it never ending was interesting to think about.

Week Review 9/24-9/28
I really enjoyed what we learned this week. I was really interested in the Tiananmen square protests in 1989. I found this particularly interesting because of the way the government in the United States and china would both act. Also I found it interesting on how Clinton dealt with foreign policy.
